Shotgun reciever pin is loose

When I put a box of shells through my semi-auto shotgun one of the reciever pins comes out just slighty, and is no longer flush with the reciever. I had taken it to a gunsmith and he said to replace the pins, so I did and it did not do anything. Would anyone know what is causing this? I was thinking possibly it was something with the trigger group or the reciever itself.

Try and find the right sized split pin. Mind you, a call to the manufacturer would also be in order.

Do the receiver pins hold the trigger guard in? What kind is it? Is it a Remington? Are the little retaining loops still in the trigger guard housing?
