If I EVER need a long arm with a bayonet, it will be a rifle, not a shotgun

Well that flash hider isn't going to do much where its mounted. As for the bipod on a shotgun, i'll pass but hey if thats what you want then go for it.
Edit: i'd give up bipod for a bayonet. I think there more fitting on shotgun, as most shotguns are used for close encounters where as rifle would be used for longer distance. Then again historically the rifle has been the bayonet weapon. We have the pistol bayonet thing so why not a shotgun one? Heck put one on each type of weapon and you won't have to worry about not having one when ya need it.

Actually the add says the bipod is "for display only." That means to hold the gun for the photo.

Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't it a little awkward to have the bipod mounted on the pump? It works on rifles because you're not mounting the bipod onto say the bolt or lever or any other part of the action.
If you miss the first shot there's no way you can chamber the next shell and get back on target fast enough to hit anything other than air.
