After a recent health problem (renal failure) my usual method of carry must change from strong side IWB/OWB to shoulder holster. This is necessary due to the peritoneal catheter being placed at my belt line.

I'm looking at the Galco Miami Classic and the Stylemaster in the Dillon catalog. Anybody have any experience with either and what might be your recommendation ?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Don

I had the Miami Classic and found it to be compersome and off balance. The spider yoke piece rode up on to the back of my neck and generally was uncomfortable. Personally, I recommend the Kangaroo Carry Air Marshal 3

I have three Galco Jackass holsters; for 1911, Glock 20
and S&W N Frames. One is over 20 years old. They are
comfortable and well made.

I've been very comfortably wearing a Blackhawk as my daily carry in their vertical rig, looks like I'm going to order the single-side lifeline for the Missus to wear my 1911 in shortly.

Local to me though, I went in to the shop and felt the goods up before jumping in. They seem to make only what's ordered, (no stock on hand) so depending on which models they're making at the time it can be up to 4 weeks+ wait unless you catch them at the start of a cycle.
