Well, I am going to get to get an M39. This is for sure. Next time I have the money to buy a rifle that's what I'm getting.

But pretend this isn't the case for a second. Convince me with pretty pictures why I should get one.

I've got a dozen or so, but this old warhorse is my favorite of the bunch...hardly any finish left, but it shoots like a dream.

My recently acquired M39, 1943 Sako, SkY variation. I've only had it to the range once and got a 1.5" group at 50 yards with open sights the first time out. For 55+ year old eyes and bifocals to boot that is spectacular shooting for me. I love it!
