Sig P226 or HK USP

The ONLY Sig 9mm I'd buy for carry is the P239. I wouldn't gamble my money on one of Sig's newer offerings. Like I said before, they aren't the same company that they used to be.

If you want a dedicated concealed carry 9mm, check out the Walther PPS. Walther makes some fantastic pistols as well that are easily on the same level as Sig/H&K in terms of quality and reliability. The PPS, P99, and PPQ are excellent guns and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

SIG's only P-series subcompact is the P224. 11+1 in 9mm. The P239 (and its predecessor the P225/P6) is larger but holds only 8+1 in 9mm.

I like my P6, but I don't carry it. It's an early P6 though and may not feed hollowpoints - never tried - but I didn't buy it for carry so it doesn't matter to me. I think the P6/P225/P239 family is pretty big relative to its capacity and if I were to carry a 9mm I might choose something that holds a few more rounds.

Found a P226 MK25 and went ahead and took the plunge. Glad I did. Love the gun so far. Ran about 150 rnds through both my new HK and Sig. Both quality and reliability. I give the edge to the Sig though now due to a much smoother trigger pull. Also the gun is slightly heavier and the felt recoil is greatly less than the HK. Could not get over how much less the P226 MK25 recoil was compared to the HK USP.

Go buy both because your conscience will still be questioning your desicion after you make it. Also, go check out a Sig SP2022, in my opinion that model is more comparable to an HK. The FN FNX or FNP are in that same ballpark as well as far as quality and standards. Just buy them all that way you wont be dis satisfied lol.
