I was watching a short review on the pistol on youtube. As I am thinking about getting one, and this guy brought up a good point. He was saying how the ambi safety might hit your knuckles on the other side because the gun is so small...
What are your experiences? Here is a link to the video if you want to check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDLvkKwiSJA

My wife has a non-ambi 238 which I regularly shoot in case its the only thing I have available. I am a lefty with larger than average hands and the only thing that bothers me about the safety is theres not one on my side.

Recently been contemplating trying out an ambi 938 for myself on light days when I just want to toss something in my pocket. Haven't seen one in person yet so I don't know if its still small enough to do that.

I have small-ish hands, and the short time I've used my parent's 238/938 I haven't had any issues with the ambi safety. Note that I specified the ambi safety when I mentioned I haven't had issues...

1KPerDay, thanks for reminding me why I shouldn't become an early adopter of anything.

I have large hands and the ambi safety on the 938 hasn't bothered me. The continuing failures to extract have, however.
Thats another thing the guy in the video said at the end. He decided to get the 238 because it has been out a little longer and most of the bugs have been fixed, and that he would likely get the 938 in a year or two after it has more of a track record...

Everybodies hands are different, however when firing my singled sided safety P238 left handed, I haven't encountered this problem.

No problem with the ambi safety on my P938, except that the right side rattles a bit when engaged.
