Sig Sauer new offerings...

I'm pretty happy with my 226 Legion SAO. Once I got that my other Sig's ended up on the chopping block and went away.

I might want a spare some day, or maybe a RDS or .40 slide at some point

Keep in mind, self avowed Sig snob here, but....

Plastic Sigs are NOT "P" series pistols. P series is P series... P220, P226, P229 etc.

Plastic Sigs are NOT a part of the X series... P226 X5, X6 etc

[/rant off]
What do you call the Sig P320 series of striker-fired auto-loaders!?! (Plastic)

Sure, that's technically true.

But if you say "Sig P-Series" most folks will rightly envision the classic hammer fired guns (226, 228, 229, 220 et all) not the new plastic striker fired stuff.

I guess it would be more correct to call them Classic 200 series?

Got lots of Sigs, for me 'P' = 'Perfection' .... (Yeah, I said it G***k owners :D )

The 320 xfive Legion was released by Sig to compete with the Walther, steel frame. Geared to competition shooters.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Glock and S&W come out with heavy pistols also.

I have the SIG P320 X5 Legion (as well as a standard P320 X5 with the SSI tungsten grip), and it does not look as ugly as that picture makes it out to be.

I agree that the gun in the OP is ugly for sure! The real gun, not so much, and it shoots like a DREAM!
