I am currently reloading .223 on a Lee 4 hole turret. I have sized/decapped about 150'ish rounds. I have a few questions about both using tools and some genreal questions.
1. When using the Lee case pilot + 1/4 chuck how far into the case does the guide need to be? All the way through the primer hole? It would seem that using the chuck makes it almost impossible to put the guide all the way through the primer hole.
2. Upon measuring some of my cases they are SHORTER than the Saami. The SAAMI calls for 1.766. I have found many that are 1.765 to 1.760. Is it ok to load these or are they defective in some way?
