I'm just learning to shoot a rifle with my SKS, and so far have done so with the stock sights. There appear to be plenty of options for upgrading the sighting system, with plenty of drawbacks.
My shooting will be done almost exclusively at 50-100 yards without a rest. In considering options I've pretty much decided I don't want a red dot or a handguard mounted scope. I'm leaning towards the Tech Sights TS200, but I'd like to hear what y'all think. There are, I know, receiver cover mounted scopes as well as receiver mounted. In considering the TS200, I've obviously decided I can go for $60-70; I'm sure not going to stick a $250 scope on this rifle.
And as always when tinkering with a Yugo SKS, are there any legal issues to be considered?
