I have small hands, and the 1911 with normal grip panels, flat MSH and short trigger is still a tad too large for me, front to back wise.
I'm interested in building my own carry pistol, and i'd like to slimline it. I know a "slimlined" 1911 has had a high grip treatlent to the frontstrap, a high grip grip safety installed, and the frame is made thinner, in addition to thin grip panels.
Exactly how much material is taken off of each of these areas?
