Sling swivel mounts

I am looking for a set of swivel mounts to install on a NEF 20 ga single shot. The wood forend piece is not too thick and I do not want to buy a set which is too deep. Has anyone else mounted a sling on one of these? If so could you please point me in the right direction?

I would suggest you consider the barrel-band set.
A forearm mounted swivel stud will put a lot of stress on the NEF single screw forearm mounting system.
And you said the wood is pretty thin anyway.

A barrel band will take the forearm stress or wood thickness out of the equation totally.

im with RC that was my first thought


or go with the older more traditional 2 screw sling swivels. since you are using 2 screws instead of 1 i would feel safer about using a smaller screw.

i have a 12 gauge and have owned 20 gauges. get uncle mikes. they sell swivel studs that are short and long. get the one with at least one short stud as the stock can take the long one. youi can check ebay, but i would recommend going to a shop and looking in person.
