Whoa....thems fightin words!All-in-all, the 4" Model 66 is simply the finest revolver ever made.
Congrats .
15 years ago I bought its twin for $325. Sold it stupidly to buy something else. It would cost me more than twice what I paid for it to replace it. This year I made a vow to not sell any more revolvers. The prices in them just keep going up.
Maybe the finest K frame revolver. I've always loved the M19 and M66 because of their size and balance. I had a M19-2 long ago, traded it for a M66-1, and I rue the day I sold the M66 to a friend. Not much of a friend, he won't sell it back, LOL, but at least I know it has a good home. I finally found a nice M19-3 to replace it. But lately, I've come to love the big N frame guns, too, and can't say the M19 is a better revolver than the M27 or M28. They sure look good together, though. OP, your M66 is gorgeous, looks brand new.All-in-all, the 4" Model 66 is simply the finest revolver ever made.
