What's the DL on SNS AR's? I know they import their lowers, but don't know what uppers and/or barrels they use. Would I be able to put a RRA NM trigger in it d'ya think? (this'll be my first AR after years of reading about them. My M1s and bolt guns may hate me for it)

Looking for a FTF in WA (wetside), (not you Monty) for my first AR.
Want to spend less than $900, including 5+decent mags. Ammo a plus.

My first lead is an "SNS". Not much shows up on arfcom and here (and Google), and none of it is bad.

AND they're practically neighbors of mine.

Let me know of SNS or if you have a FTF lead for me.

My DPMS AR w/ YHM lt.wt. FF 4R Tube & YHM BUIS is my BFF. OMG!

Sorry.. just kidding. But I agree... we in the gun community are starting to sound like one of those Verizon text-messaging commercials.

no idea what SNS is, but a RR NM trigger will go in any standard lower

I'm with Hoppy. But I'm going to try to translate the parts that I HAVE figured out.

What's the DL [The Down-Low?] on SNS [No Idea here.] AR's? [Oh.. I got this one... AR-15] I know they import their lowers, but don't know what uppers and/or barrels they use. Would I be able to put a RRA NM [Easy... Rock River Arms National Match] trigger in it d'ya think? (this'll be my first AR [AR-15] after years of reading about them. My M1s [M1 Garands] and bolt guns may hate me for it)

Looking for a FTF [Face-to-Face Transaction] in WA [Washingon state] (wetside), (not you Monty) for my first AR.

That's all I can do...

And then I got some of my own medicine: I did buy this SNS lower(http://www.snsindustriesinc.com/prod06.htm) build up.
Then I saw the upper only said "MMS"! So the great web acronym search began. Turns out most folks call 'em "Mega", located in Tumwater. Looks like they're highly regarded.
Yeah, that DL thing is a holdover from living and working in Oakland for most of my life. Its nice to salt a bit of Urban Slang in every once in a while, y'know I'm Keepin' It Real!

I like your Text Commercial idea. Its about time we had our own commercials...

Taliv that's a good question.
Unfortunately I had to resort to internet data mining. After reading about 10 pages each of various iterations of "Mega" "Machine" "Upper" "AR" etc., I only saw good things (about 20 posts that related to specifically Mega uppers over the last 2 years) except for a brief reference to "some trouble a few years ago" from a post that was at least two years old. And most of these posts were on forums I'd never heard of, used, or were even AR related. So, not to sound prickly, but I've satisfied my curiosity to the same degree of anything I shop or research on the internet. Do you have a different experience or opinion?
