I don't beleive any 30-30 kicks more than a M/N. The Marlin 30-30 comes in the 336 not the model 95.

sorry, got my levers mixed up for a moment. I was halfway in Win 94 and Marlin 336. I have shot 30-30 from a win 94, and regardless of whether the acual recoil numbers add up I find the Mosin more enjoyable to shoot with full power loads... Call me crazy.

Greyling, here you go *pat on the back*. Feel better? I think that is a great idea, just have other things to spend that money on right now... otherwise I'd be all over it.

I think I will use the .454 for anything I need that much power for, or just pick up the K31, not worry about energy levels so much, and enjoy my god-given parts a bit longer. appreciate all the input.
