We should encourage all “third parties†IMHO. I don’t agree with many/any of Nader’s ideas, but at least he seemed to run on principle. If the “debates†between Bush & Gore in 2000 had included Brown and Nader, there might have been some actual issues brought up instead of the silly analysis on who looked better or who came off as pedantic or arrogant.

I do believe you're right about Nader running on principle, tiberius. Wrong principles, ususally, but I do believe he holds them sincerly and acts from honest conviction. I respect that.


On the other hand, he's such a looney toon on most things it's hard not to laugh at him! Then he goes and nails something dead on once in a while, just to keep us from getting complacent.
