I bought the same kit, and reload similar calibers. What I have found is that the Hornady powder throw in the kit works awesome, however, for pistol I was having to bell the cases and then throw the powder. I bought a Lee Auto Disk for all my pistol powder and have been very happy with it. I am still using the scale, calipers, and powder trickle that came with the kit.
I bought a few brass prep tools. Ez trim for the drill, and a Lyman multi tool to debur and trim primer crimps. I got a Lyman tumbler along with some lizard bedding, and of course all the dies from Hornady and some extra die bushings.
What I found for the pistol was that I really liked the Hornady bullet seat die, but bought Lee for sizing, and powder through expanding. For rifle I bought Hornady 3 die sets. Love the hand primer on the Hornady as well. Grab a couple of extra loading trays, and some more one shot.
That's my first year so far. Hope this helps.
