I've been to about ten in the past five years, but only one of those was even halfway worth the admission price. It was the little Eagle River Lions Club show held in their basement. The big ones are always a letdown. Mostly if I do any horse trading it's with the same guys I always horse trade with, so the admission price is useless. The rest of the tables are a mix of cranky old guys with boxes of unpriced junk and the usual gun stores trying to sell the same firearms they've had on their racks for ages.

Prices are, with very few exceptions, much HIGHER than normal and the service is much, much worse. Some vendors won't even allow a bore inspection.

The neo-nazis and weirdos kind of round out the picture.

Oregon Trail Gun show
It was ok, I finally found one of the hard to find mags I have been needing, so that was cool, but no one had any decent trades to offer, and about half the prices were about 10-20% higher than retail, it's allways fun to look though

Lakeland this past weeked, Tampa the week before that, Jacksonville twice in two weeks before that...

Went to Oneonta NY sunday. Got a WW1 SG 84/98 II bayo, some kalash mags, and two Steyr Mannlicher pouches.
