Nice...but what are you going to do with it? Seal it permanently in a vacuum sealed display case, surrounded by the latest high tech anti-theft devices? Lock it away in the inner most recesses of your vault? Donate it to a firearms museum? Well your certainly not going to fire the thing...are you?
Agree with above post. I've gotten rid of my "shouldn't shoot" guns. I am much happier now. Plus, as soon as I died, my son would swiftly be at the range blasting away and later trade it for a Kel-Tec or something!
I'd have to shoot it. I mean, owning a beautiful machine like that and never shooting it? That would be like buying a Ferrari GT250 California and never driving it.
Gotta wonder what the reserve is on it?
(You'd think the guy would have cut the tie strap off for the pics)
Lord, what a pimpmeister. Gold plated triggers are kind of flashy, even on a Marlin or Browning, but gold plated hammers are just trashy. And that gold overlay pattern down the barrel is a very pale imitation of real engraving.
Friend of mine got a commemorative SAA with a lot of gold on it. At the time it was about $200 LESS than a standard blue gun. So he shoots it regularly.
