Source for .45 ACP 185 gr. SWC lead bullets?

I've been shooting Bullseye competition with 200 grain SWC that I bought from a friend awhile back.

My supply is starting to dwindle, so I figured it's time to order some new bullets. I'd like to switch to a 185 gr. SWC.

Who makes these bullets for a reasonable price?

Sources of good Bullseye bullets are tough to find. I'll be pouring some with a friend in a couple weeks I hope. Mine... Aren't good enough. I intend on tapping him for all the information about pouring good slowfire bullets I can get. We'll be pouring H&G68 and H&G78's.

There is a local guy (to me) who is well known on the Bullseye-L lists. Neil Kravitz, that many buy from.

Precision Delta Bullets http://www.precisiondelta.com . Their 185 LHP SWC bullets are very accurate, but the lube they use is pretty messy. It's a powdery lube that covers the entire bullet

Penn Bullets http://www.pennbullets.com/. I had nice accuracy with their 180 GR SWC.

If your close to any of the places mentioned then make a road trip and go visit. You might find that FTF you get better deals and no shipping. I go into Oregon Trail Bullets (Laser Cast) and have gotten real good deals.

Any chance of casting your own? You can get into casting relatively inexpensively and you can control your own end product. It takes a little time, but is well worth the outcome. Just a thought.

Another vote for Roger's Better Bullets. They have a quality product at a fair price. They are good people to deal with too.

Too bad he doesn't have photos of his bullets instead of what he has on the site because the photo would show the quality. I shoot them a lot and they are every much as good as Oregon Trial's Laser Cast bullets without the excessive price.

I used to pick up Magnus bullets at gun shows in Montgomery. They shot well, although I was shooting their 225 TrFP's in .45. I also shot their 240 SWC in the .44 Spl and Mag. Good bullets. I do not know about Bullseye good, but good.
