Hey guys, I have a question. I just had a major impulse buy and picked up this Springfield 1911 at a local pawn/gun shop. They were just putting it in the case as it just came off pawn. I have never owned a 1911 and didn't do any research on the model.
It is a model PX9154L and looks exactly like the model PX9154LP on the Springfield website. Not sure what the P signifies. The case sticker says '1911 .45 Combat'. I was kind of surprised to see that it said made in Brazil-Imbel. I thought they were made here. On other pictures of this gun around the web I don't see the Brazil marking.
Can you guys tell me if everything looks right about this gun based on the picture? It looks brand new and hardly shot if at all. The mags don't have a single scratch on them. I paid $600 bucks which seemed good but like I said I had done zero research on 1911 pricing at all.
Thanks.
