Springfield 1911 sear to hammer hole position

I've looked at a couple different pdfs online. I did the trig 2 times.
The 2 drawing I saw said.
2.602" to sear.. 2.973" to the hammer on the X axis
.210" down to sear... .016" up to hammer on the Y axis
thats .371 and .226 for a .4344 hypotenuse
What drawings do you have?

It isn't .210" down to the sear, it is .210 down to the thumb safety hole. Down to the sear pin hole is, .252" +.016", that makes the difference. So, .371" X .268" gives a hypotenuse of........... .457673", not .4344

Looking at newer versions of the drawings.. it's looking like when I was trying to READ the poor quality pdfs of the ORIGINAL Colt blue prints, the lines crossed and I picked the wrong dimension. OOOOOPS. Also why I was asking.

My 3 pistols are within .001" or so as good as my dial caliper can give me. One, pistol being dead on, one plus, one minus.
