I have come a cross a gun that looks just like the cz75b but is a springfield at the local pawn shop. I sold my first cz and was wondering if the price of $375 is good for this gun, in good condition. Im strongly considering it because I miss my cz.

Sure, but I'd try to negotiate a price as out the door instead of paying tax and check on it.
Argue that it was a "failed" experiment that Springfield abandoned, that it was actually made by Tangfoglio instead of Springfield and that you can't be sure how easy magazines are going to be to find (no problem).

Springfield P9, actually a good solid gun. Any mags made for TZ-75, TA90, Witness, (Old style), should fit just fine. It's not a CZ, but a solid sidearm.

Get the CZ, or consider the EAA Witness that costs less and accepts interchangeable slides if you want to go with a different caliber.

Do be aware, I have been told that some of the newer Witness slides have experienced some breakage. I don't have any particulars, and it hasn't happened to me.
The CZ can use the Kadet Kit for .22lr use, and czcustom.com has made some .357SiG barrels for the CZ P06 40SW pistol.

The P-9 was a decent gun that deserved a better fate. It corrected the issues with the Tanfoglio and actually has a nicer finish than the CZ enamel paint. It is probably one of the best of the CZ clones.
That being said, you can get a CZ-75b for around $450 NIB if you shop around. $335 for the P9 is about average for a P9 in very good condition.

I owned, for fifteen years, a SA P9/.40 subcompact
and carried it a bit. I had a 'smith bob the hammer, leaving a small spur for grip while decocking for DA first shot.
The quality was excellent. The only real problem was the typical CZ-75 design problem--because of the negative set to the muzzle, one had to have a high rear sight--very high.
That problem made it a hard gun to carry well, and a rack-'n-tap drill tore up your hand. And, for me at least, an SOB carry showed just how chunky and unsmooth the basic package was.
C/W 3 mags, a case, and 90+% condition, I got $360.00 for it two years ago--and it went out the door fast.
They're good pistols.

The P9's are really solid guns and well finished. Nicer finish then most of the CZ's I have seen. I have had as many as 3 at once but have focused in on my P9 Ultra IPSC, which is a long slide ported 40. Great gun and fun to shoot.
