Can the XD-9 subcompact be carried as a pocket pistol? I know there are "smaller" ones but wonder if the XD could be carried in a cargo pocket? Anyone who has one please give an opinion. TIA

I think the XD SC would be a little bulky in the front pockets, but they would fit well in the cargo pockets.

I would recommend getting some sort of pocket holster for those and stickin' em' in your cargo pockets.

they are a bit big for regular pocket carry...VERY big pockets are ok...Cargo pockets would work...PM me if ya want one..I dont list them on my website yet but they are similar to the one for the Kel-tec P-11 but have a bit bigger stabilizing fin..

45R,
I cant seem to get a pic to post...If ya goto the website and click on pocket hoslters and goto the "oblivion" link...Click the P-11...The holster looks just like that one except for size..although the stabilizing fin is a bit bigger...

I dont take pictures..The last 2 I made went out before I could get with my photo guy.

Not a 3" but a 4". I can guarentee you the 3" is too hefty for pocket carry and still have decent concealment. I tried it before I bought this one and decided I might as well get the service model and just holster it. Both the 3" and 4" are great under an untucked shirt in a OWB high ride holster, they snug right up against you, hardly know they're there.

Sorry for the poor quality pick, it was with my cell phone, daughter has my digital at college. I think it's hers now?

:( Damn that's the truth. But, I'm happy she's happy. The one I want is about the same price as an XD, see where my priorities lie? 2 weeks later I bought a M60 357, it could have been a digital too. Might never get one at this rate? LOL
