No, no, this isn't another thread about why std cap mags are a particular price or is they'll come down in price. there's FAR too many of those thread out there already. I'm just wondering why everyone thinks that prices were going to drop a large amount after the sunset of the AWB. I mean, we all wanted standard cap mags before the ban. We wanted them more during the ban and now we all want them even more. More demand = higher prices folks! :banghead: If people were willing to pay $60 during the AWB, people will still ask those same prices.
As for those complaining about dealers trying to sell thier old pre-ban mags for higher prices... More thah likely a lot of the dealers bought them during the ban hoping to sell them with a high mark-up. When they didn't sell, they've still got , what is now, too much mony into them. Do they willingly take a blatent loss or at least attempt to cash in on the sudden want of high-cap buyers and take as small a loss on them as posible? Everyone that paid $1000 for their "pre-ban" AR isn't likely to get that $1000 back for it now, but more than likely will ask it if they were to sell it. :banghead:
Just wait a bit. Thise that just gotta have the standard capactiy mags will or already have gone out and gotten 'em. The availability is kinda low now. Let the manufacturers get production back and start shipping them out to dealers/distributors. These manufacturers know there's a huge marekt for them. flood the market and more than likely the prices will ebb down and become more reasonable.

Once they are avilable, just get outta my way so i can get a few for myself. :p
