stevens 200 scout rifle

I have a stevens 200 in .308, want to turn into scout rifle, looking for sites that may have available iron sights, forward mounted scope mount, after market stock. I have read that the stevens 200 is the same gun as pre accu trigger savage 110. please help

Thanks, I will give that a try, have already been to several sights, with not much luck. If in fact my stevens is an old savage 110 that will solve a lot of interchangable parts problems.

It can be done, but it'd be cheaper to sell it and buy the Savage or Ruger scout rifles.

yeah the 200 pretty much are 110s without accutriger, or the more rounded stocks. I dont rember if they are the new round top recievers or flat top. The stocks they take im not sure of either. If its the non attached center feed magazine youll have to pick your stock accordingly.

Necrothread resurrection, but here's the Stevens 200 scout I'm working on:



I made a short rail for the rear bridge with an integrated stripper clip slot, for loading the fixed 20 round mag. I'm going to fabricate a rear sight to go on the rear rail, and make my own scout rail on which to hang a forward mounted scout scope.

Weight so far is a svelte 6lb 4oz.
