Just finished Duracoating my AR and now my rear take down pin requires a punch for removal. Tried lightly sanding pin contact points with no luck.

Also, the front of the upper receiver tilts upwards when the rear pin is inserted and is easier removed when the front pin is removed first.

Any suggestions?

You got paint somewhere it doesn't belong.

Clean the upper & lower pin holes with a #40 (.098") drill bitt.

Clean the paint off the pins.

Then carefully look for contact points on the lower flats where the upper flats fit against them when the pins go in.
