I might be getting an Olive Drab Glock. Is there an issue stippling OD polymer with an iron? And what about using bedliner? I'd like to retain the body color if I do a modification.
This shows a member stippling an OD frame (it's part of a grip reduction thread): http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=254088&highlight=grip+reduc*
People have used bed liner spray, but I've only seen it done in black.
If you are interested in reducing the grip see Bowtie's excellent "G30 grip reduction" thread over at glock talk.
Regards,
Greg
I recently purchased a Model 19 that was professionally stippled and grip reduced. I do not like it as well as a stock 19, I just got a buy that I could not resist. I've never seen any alterations to any Glock that I'd recomend or was a real improvement. Except for reduction in trigger pull. Glock's are darn well thought out, darn well produced, just as they come. They work as they come also. Beware of any attempts to improve one, they are pretty much bogus.
