oooh she going to KILL me, but I could not let this go!As my wife would say, "I hate you. And I mean that in the nicest possible way."
Congratulations Mark. How's the Uber business on the graveyard shift? Ramen noodles ain't that bad.
I‘m going to take a photo of the receipt, because There NO WAY THIS IS TRUE.I am amazed. I would expect a gun like that might hit $3000 at auction.
you got it! but this will be in my personal collection for a bitMy Sweet Lord Mark, I thought I got a deal with my Colt Trooper. You, Sir, have cornered the market with that piece for $999. I bought a 98% 29-2 with presentation box, but no tools or engraving, for $1200 a few months ago and I thought that was a screaming deal. You OWN the market, dude!
Edited to add: I am INSANELY jealous. I’m not wildly into engraved guns but I sure would love to have that one. If you ever want to part with it, you have to PROMISE to give me right of first refusal. It’s the right thing to do. It’s for the children.
Edited again: now you need to have CraigC make you a custom holster for it. Then you need to open carry that sumbitch wherever you go!
My estimate might actually be low.I‘m going to take a photo of the receipt, because There NO WAY THIS IS TRUE.
I think I’ll hold on to it a bit. always wanted a 4” 29!My estimate might actually be low.

Me too. Mine was stolen decades ago and I never replaced it. California, again. I'd happily pay a thousand bucks for a plain-Jane 29-2 with no box...I think I’ll hold on to it a bit. always wanted a 4” 29!
I was looking for a plain 4” for under $1,000. There was lots of 8.5” & 6” but nothing under $1300Me too. Mine was stolen decades ago and I never replaced it. California, again. I'd happily pay a thousand bucks for a plain-Jane 29-2 with no box...
i’ll bring the cigars and bring the booze and poker chipsI had to sell my doghouse to pay for guns, so you can’t stay here, sadly!
edited: wait, how rude of me. You CAN stay here, in our spare bedroom. All you need to do is let me wear that .44 to town on Sundays.
Okay, you are now my new nominee for "Screaming Deal of the Year" (revolver edition); we may as well award you now despite seven more months left in the calendar year... (gonna assume the lock-up and timing check out okay?)My wallet was moving so fast. I was like… HERE HERE HERE HERE! take my money now and start the transfer
Timing and lock was very good, don’t think it was fired much or at allOkay, you are now my new nominee for "Screaming Deal of the Year" (revolver edition); we may as well award you now despite seven more months left in the calendar year... (gonna assume the lock-up and timing check out okay?)
Sorry, @vanfunk.
Got lucky , that’s all. buying the sale person a nice lunch helps tooMark I have no idea how you do it, but more power to you man!!
Nobody wins the lotto!Did you buy Powerball and Mega-Millions tickets today as well?
thanks for the clarification! I thought it mean quality, like a A class engraver or B class engraver!Unbelievable!!! I would've snatched that up in a heartbeat.
The A, B, C, D represents the amount of coverage, not the quality. With Colt, A is the least at 25%, B is 50%, C is 75% and D is 100% or "full" coverage. If it falls somewhere in between you'll see a "+" thrown in there. The two I had done are C+ because they're more than 75% but less than 100%. S&W goes the other way where A is full coverage.
Wow. Just wow. I am not someone who normally likes engraved firearms, but that is very tasteful. Shoot specials in it and enjoy the s&w bliss... such a lucky findI don’t know How, What, Were, I did right… I am in LOVE with this gun. Still Shaking right now. I had to buy it for $999!
Class B factory engraving with letter. Please enjoy!!! I am!!!
