SW99 Compact vs XD9 Compact

Has anyone experience with both the Smith & Wesson P99 Compact and the Springfield XD9 pistols? I have shot the Walther P99 and was very pleased with it. There appears to be pro's and con's with both. I like the SW99 being a DA/SA but the trigger on the XD is nice. I haven't seen much on the forum about the SW99 compact. Any comments?

Had em both for a while. Love the grip safety of XD. I liked the SW most, the XD slide rusted quickly!-supposedly this is resolved. The trigger on the SW was nicer, and it seemed a bit smaller. I am waiting for the true Walther P99 subcompacts to come out and I will grab another. I wish Walther would make a P99 compact or Sub in the .45 GAP!
