Pfffft, get the Spartan and hunt happy. At least go swing one in the store along with a Stoeger, see how well they fit ya and how the feel. They're reliable, might not balance right for the discriminating shooter, but they go bang every time. Just a matter of if you like the feel and point of the gun. Mine's a 20 inch coach gun that Armedbear would no doubt turn down for free, but it does well on doves.

That's not in my nature.

That said, the Spartan doesn't fit me, at all. I'd have to re-stock it. But if you ever want to give it away...

Well, fit is important. Mine had too short of a pull length and a bit too little drop, but a recoil pad fixed it. Drop ain't perfect, but it's pretty close.

Oh, I haven't handled this gun, but I was really thinking about getting the O/U Yildiz. Nice gun and lots of favorable opinion from owners.

I have a Savage/Fox BSE in 20......and it is a brick....weights as much as a 12 and balances like the proverbial pig on a shovel.......

The velocity difference between a 12 & a 20 is so small as to make no difference in lead.

1200 fps is 1200 fps.....

I second finding an Uggie used for a decent SxS that won't break after a short time

Try CDNN I believe their website is www.cdnninvestments.com You can download their catelog. CZ-USA is no longer going to sell shotguns. CDNN is clearing out their stock. I bought a very nice SxS for $499.00. These guns are made at the Huglu factory in Turkey. Don't laugh, they have been making guns for over 100 years and have the latest CNC machinery. The engraving is still done by hand. I have three other Huglu guns that I bought from Mark DeHaan when he was selling them. He only sells custom guns now but will service any Huglu gun. I have a 12g and 20g in SxS and O/U. I have fired many rounds of skeet with each. My favorite is the 20g O/U.
