Here is one I got recently. I like the full-size Tanfoglio CZ clones very much. I didn't have a 40 caliber one and got this polymer version for $250 barely used. It has good sights and a good trigger. My friend and I both shot it well the day before yesterday with no malfunctions. I have put 100 rounds through it on two different range visits and am well pleased. I like the ergonomics and it fits my XL hands better than the CZ's on the slightly smaller frame. I also have one in 9mm and one in 45acp (both steel).

A few years ago I bought an old single-action 22lr revolver that I am 99% sure is a Tanfoglio, and just for fun I paid $100 for one of their old 25acp pocket pistols that I will pick up tomorrow morning. I didn't have a 25acp of any kind and I have heard that the steel ones made in Italy are decent guns (it's not for SD).

Any other Tanfoglio fans out there?

I've got a pair of Elite Matches in .40, not a better gun made for the money. My youngest daughter also has 2 of their Pavona's in .380 and 9mm.

I wish I'd bought a couple in the 80's when hardly anyone had heard of them and they were super cheap. It would have been more convenient if I'd figured out way back then what my favorite pistols were.

I friend of mine had a TZ75 it was all metal , shot well at least it did in the very late 1980's I think he paid 180 or 200 for it, I have moved and have not talked with him in 20 years have no idea how it has held up, but is seemed like a decent gun

EAA and RIA both have Tanfoglio. EAA has large frame now and RIA has small frame. I have 3 Tanfoglio in 9mm, one EAA older small frame, one RIA and one older TZ75, all steel.

Like the Tanfoglio Appeal Bullpup! First time I have seen one. Don't really have a need for one in .22LR or .22 Magnum but would be very interested in one in 9mm. or 10mm.

What's the capacity on the FT9?

Depending on how slim the grip is that might make a outstanding bedside firearm for people with poor hand strength or are otherwise recoil adverse.

I've been looking at either the Baby Browning or the RIA 380 for the same task.

That is exactly what the Pavona was developed for and it has a 14 round magazine.

Tanfoglio 6 inch slide, 45acp. Cleared the course last week with zero point deductions. Only person to accomplish on this eve was me. 8 rounds at 25 yards four bad guys among friendly, all double taps. Mag change to 8 live rounds plus one intentional dummy round at 15 yards, mag loaded by someone else for shooter suprise, bad guys in friendly, double taps. Clear dummy round behind cover. Mag change to four rounds strong hand only, 7 yards, two bad guys no friendly, double tap each.

Intentionally, I did all head shots, zero deducts. I love this pistol. All the IDPA goons say "Illegal, gun won't fit in the box." I'm there for skill practice, not the silly rules.

kBob - I picked up the 25acp on Saturday. I'll post a pic tomorrow. It was made in Italy by Tanfoglio and imported by a company called Excam. I think it is the same pistol as the FIE Titan. The slide is steel, but the frame seems to be "pot metal". I probably won't get a chance to shoot it for a week or two.
