I went to the range this week with a friend from work who just bought a new Taurus 24/7 in .40.
I had a real hard time with the trigger. It was smooth and light, and it managed to suprise me every time it fired. However, it felt like I had to pull FOREVER!
I've tried Glocks and XDs before, but they seemed to be half the pull length. I kept thinking that the trigger had to be touching the frame before it would fire.
Is that normal? I'll admit to being a 1911 fan, so any double action-ish (I know that this has a new marketing name, but you get where I'm going, right?) feel long and odd. Even after getting used to the M9, this still seems long.
Anyone put one of these through its paces? It seemed light enough that you could get pretty decent with it, but I just don't know about pulling that far..
