How far away from the gel was the shot made?

I wanted to like this hand cannon. I know several folks ( like at least 12 ) that have bought them and none of the Judges are in HD or SD use and few get range time. Most of them are under glass or in a safe. And the few that are loaded are done so with the ammo tested as back ups for HD use. And a few under glass have timing issues and aren't worth the money needed to send them back to the Bull for service. Heck the pawn shops that buy or take firearms in loan won't take them.

And whats worse is .410 is the hardest shot shell to reload. You have a buddy thats a good .410 reloader. Thats a top shelf reloader....

I just don't get the weapon....... :(

FWIW, my Judge gets more actual use than any of my other handguns. Mainly because it is the gun I always carry when working around my property.

It's great, because I keep 3 chambers full of birdshot for snakes (#6 birdshot works great), and 2 chambers full of 000 buckshot for any larger pests that make themselves known.

It's certainly NOT a gun to keep under glass or in a safe. At least, not for me. As for range time, I have a range in my backyard and the Judge is one gun everybody wants to shoot. So, it also gets a lot of range time.

Is it perfect? No. But it is perfect for what I use it for.

Those tests are fine , however what I want to know is the carry ? Do you stagger rounds ,if so ,wouldnt that mess up accuracy a bit , I mean the .45lc would seem to be shooting alot off with that shotshell as an alternate? I dont know just wondering , everyone has posted about the shotshell , what about 45? Im not too big on combos , they remind me of printer/copy/scanners , if the scanner dont work the rest doesnt either!

What I personally do is have all five chambers loaded identically, in my case I have 5 rounds of the 4 pellet 000 buck Federal load. I've never really believed in "party mix" loading for firearms. :)

Some people will not acknowledge the Judges
capabilities no matter what proof you put
in front of them.

It seems to be the case, but I think its mostly biased hatred of Taurus. Its amazing to read some of the negative comments about the Judge. Makes you wander if anybody actually shoots there guns or just talks about shooting on THR, cant see how anybody thinks the Judge is a novelty gun. Its way better than most handguns for quick close work and most of the time it will be close work. I've commented in defense of the Taurus Judge many times lets wait to see if the S&W copy gets any better.
