I just bought a Taurus pt-100. I really wanted a Beretta but it was out of my price range at the time and I'm told that the Taurus is nearly identical to the Beretta cosmetically, and not that far below it in functionality. the problem? I can tell from the size that this is not a pistol designed for concealed carry but there are places where open carry doesn't work for me. Does anyone no of any inside the pants holsters for this gun???

Smart Carry?

You might start with SmartCarry.

You can carry a lot of gun in one of those.

They evidently compete with the Thunderwear holsters.

And then, of course, there are the more conventional holsters.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly with more data on those.

I recommend fore-and-aft strap or clip retention to avoid adding even more width to an already wide gun. Try UBG for some very nice holsters of this type. I would put his work up against anyone's. :) I see no reason why your Taurus would not fit in a holster made for the identically sized Beretta, but if you are not sure he is very responsive to questions.

Some tightly boned holsters will not accept the 92/100 series of Taurus. The location of the safety levers on the Taurus precludes a good fit. That said, many holsters WILL allow the pair of guns to fit, as they are cut away enough to allow for a good fit.

FYI, I carry a Model 101 as a cold weather CCW in a Fobus Paddle Holster.
