What town in Texas had the incident a few years ago with:

-their swat team sniper shooting one of his fellow officers
-entry teams on either side of the house they were entering trading fire with each other?

I can't remember the name of the town, and am trying to find info on the event.

Lubbock, TX.

The teams did not enter the house. The team members did fire more than a hundred rounds on the house in what one member described in his report as 'suppressive' fire.

The homeowner did spend some time chained to a hospital bed until the medical examiner determined that the round that killed the sergeant came from outside the house, not inside.

The chief of police was fired, but with handsome severance pay because he threatened a vicious lawsuit.

The homeowner's original crime was burning his estranged wife's furniture on the front lawn.
