Last week I finally decided to order the Comp-Tac MTAC holster that I have been eyeing for a while. Well last sunday at work I placed the order and here was the time line.
Sunday- Order Placed
Monday- Nice personalized email saying that production time should be two weeks
Tuesday- Nice email saying that the holster was finished and will be taken to the post office that night
Wednesday- I emailed them asking for my tracking number, I got a very nice email from their shipping manager with the number but below it was the text of the forward she had received from someone above her in the company that I found kinda rude, saying "I know this guy's probably just asking for the tracking number before you've had a chance to send it...but just to cover myself, I'm forwarding it on. If you've sent it, or are going to send it, I wouldn't even respond. I'm sorry to waste your time."
Thursday- Got my holster in the mail.
Granted today was the first day I tried it, I realized I ordered the wrong clips, I got it with the J-Clips which now when I read the site it actually warns you against ordering J-clips. I should have gotten the standard clips instead. I am going to try the holster this weekend on vacation but may very well end up ordering an extra set of clips from their site. (I could send the holster back but don't feel its right since it was totally my fault for not reading their site)
I was VERY impressed with the speed and politeness of the entire company. Each day I received a personalize email from the company. Also today in the package on the invoice was written, "Thank you **** for you order, enjoy your gear" It was hand written in Sharpie. These little things mean a lot to me.
I will update the post with the review after this weekend.
