If you throw ... you know ... this sure ain't easy!

The 1st station at yesterday's Woodswalk was a hanging log ~ 8” wide … and it would both swing and twist wildly if you had a glancing blow or a successful 'stick' out on the edge ... and one had to throw both within 10-seconds! I not only scored on the 2 hits with both the knife and hatchet (Robts Rangers called them hatchets, not 'tomahawks' or 'hawks', LOL!) ... but besides 2 good sticks, lookie how square to the block the sticks were!

I doubt I will ever repeat this in my life … but I’ll sure try!

I'm getting better with the tomahawk, but am still completely useless with the throwing knife. Well done!

I’m duly impressed by that display of a forgotten survival skill. What was the distance?

Wow! I would be lucky if I could hit that log, not even trying to stick it in the log.

I've told this story but not sure if it was on this site. Wife and I started throwing knives at log rounds hanging in our yard. We got good after a while and I threw my six knives scattered around the round and my wife wove her arm around them, took a picture and sent it to my son. I told him we are ready to take our act on the road. A minute later wife got a frantic call from my son saying "PLEASE DON'T LET DAD DO THAT"
