I recently bought a set of 3 38/357 carbide dies to use with my LnL AP press and upon inspecting the contents, i noticed that they give you a spacer ring that you can use to put under the lock collar to push the entire die up from the preset 38 position to then handle 357 for the same bullet. you only need this for the flaring and seater/crimp dies and since i'll be installing all at once in the press, having 2 would be nice. Now, i didn't know if there should have been 2 spacers, nor was i aware that they even included 1 but i called to ask. The polite gentleman at RCBS hotline told me that they only include 1 spacer with the die set and asked me if i would like to order a second. I thought well a spacer is cheaper than another whole die so sure, let me order one. I ask him how much and he says no charge and takes my info. A few days later i actually get not 1, but 2 spacers in the mail--how generous!

Thanks RCBS!

The secret is in getting to talk to someone - once you do, they are johnny-on-the-spot with spare parts. Presses, balance scales, dies, etc. all carry a forever warranty for parts

Agreed

RCBS certainly is respectful of its customer base and deals more than fairly with parts breakage and 'user issues'.

Agreed! Recently stripped a set screw on one of my dies. I emailed them and they emailed me back the next morning saying they put a few in the mail.

I agree. I waited on the phone for 3 hours to talk to someone but the parts my wife LOST & broke were replaced at no charge & free shipping.
