The longest AR you'll ever see...

Good grief, what do you do, just stretch out a little and bop the gophers briskly on the head?

J/K, that is a SCHWEET looking set-up.

so.... how long is it?
About 52" with the stock set for me.

Love the Buckmark ... and the AR
It's a Ruger, not a Buckmark.

Price, accuracy, further specs needed please
Price... a lot. Well over $3k. I shoot slightly sub-MOA with it, but I freely admit not being a good rifleman. Better shooters have printed half-MOA groups with it.

Specs:
Stag Arms upper and lower (technically a 6.8SPC lower, but it's a 5.56 rifle)
26" White Oak Armament varmint barrel, 1:7 twist, turned from an air-gauged Wilson blank and custom-ordered with threaded muzzle and M4 feedramps
Burris XTR 3-12x50 scope with illuminated reticle
Burris XTR 30mm rings
Magpul PRS stock
Magpul trigger guard
Accu-Shot monopod
DPMS target grip
Troy Industries MRF-RX rail system
Harris bipod 9-13" on a YHM bipod adapter
Allison Pathfinder
US Optics level
AAC M4-1000 Mod 08 silencer with AAC Blackout QD flash hider mount

actually, i'm normally a big fan of 1/7 twist, but that is an odd choice for a varmint gun

nice rifle, btw

it needs a 20" quad rail :D

mmmm...pretty. I need a better job. I'm scrapin pennies to buy my plain vanilla AR kit. I haven't even paid off $3k on my TRUCK NOTE! I can't imagine dropping that much on a rifle. I hope maybe one day I can.

Thanks, Conqueror.
Some day I will have one really good rifle (probably not here in the UK, somewhere else)

That's a hell of a rifle indeed. Those burrowing rats will have no idea what's going on.

I have an AR that I have to break down to fit into a 56" rifle case.

It's in .50 BMG though. :)

how much have you shot it so far with the suppressor?

I haven't shot it since picking the can up, since I was pretty sick over the weekend. However, my dealer is a range buddy, so I got to shoot it a fair bit while it was still in his possession. It is laughably quiet. My dealer does suppressor demos for a number of LE agencies in the area, and has a lot of experience with cans, and he immediately declared that he wanted one when he shot it.

That is outstanding!!! How much trouble is it to buy one of those and what do they usually set you back? I need one in such a bad way. When I built my house, I was the only one out here & I have 10 acres. Now the is a house on both sides of me and it has really cut down my shooting. Not that either has complained, I just don't want it to become a problem, know what I mean.

Very Nice

I like that. Excellent job. I wish I was there to put a few hundred rounds through it with you. It's definitely a fine gun.

Molon Labe,
Joe
