THE NRA BLACKLIST BALL
Grand Hyatt Hotel, Saturday, May 8, 8:30pm

On the eve of the Mother's Day March to Halt the Assault, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence united with the Million Mom March is hosting the NRA Blacklist Ball, a fundraising event to recognize and celebrate the individuals and organizations who have been "blacklisted" by the NRA for their stance on helping to create an America free from gun violence.

The NRA is up to their usual extremist antics, supplying members with a list of celebrities, organizations, and national figures who support sane gun laws. We've highlighted the NRA's extremism and paranoia with the websitewww.NRAblacklist.com.

And now we are going to have some fun with it!

Join us at the Blacklist Ball for dessert, dancing, a silent auction, and great entertainment, with emceeing by comedian Richard Belzer (from TV's "Law and Order: SVU" and "Homicide").

Individual tickets are $150 before March 12 and $200 afterwards. There are also sponsorship packages, which include tickets, ranging from $1,000 to $75,000.

Who knew that being on a Blacklist could be such a Ball? To buy tickets for the Ball, call Amy at (202) 338-6100, extension 122. Check back here for a link to purchase tickets online.

To donate items to the Silent Auction, contact Lillian Pubillones Nolan (301) 299-6723 or [email protected].

Actually, this Blacklist Ball is a GREAT idea! We can just add to the blacklist all companies and celebrities who either attend or sponsor!

FWIW,

emc

If I lived on that coast, I might break out my tuxedo and go. One fifty is a cheap price to pay for the opportunity to poison a lot of conversations and do the "Assault Weapons Boogie" in the middle of the floor:

You put your right foot in
You take your right foot out
You "spray fire from the hip" accurately
And shake it all about. . . .

Will Lillian Pubillones Nolan be surprised when my donation of a case of ammo to the auction arrrives at her front door? I may have it shipped direct from the supplier.

"M.C." Richard Belzer

I don't want to take a cheap shot(YES I do!), but, if you're familiar with this un-funny comedian-turned-actor, he looks like he took a load of birdshot to his face. Sorry(Yea, right). :neener:

Morons......I'm sorry, but I think it would be SO delicious if a couple of armed men robbed the whole place, relieving these clowns of their wallets, watches, etc.

Like they say, a liberal is only a conservative who hasn't been mugged yet.

Richard Belzer has high hopes.

High hopes that someday soon Avon will come out with a good spackling compound. :D

(I know that wasn't very "High Road" on my part, but I just couldn't resist.)

Donations!!!

What we need is a farmer to donate about 25 Tons of HS, then lets get a fund up to have it delivered. Course it needs to be scheduled late and deposited right on time so they have to walk through it.

Only 25 tons? Wouldn't be hard to come up with around here!
You'd need to deliver it with a spreader truck, those things will toss BS higher and further than any politician you've ever seen.

I say we have a "Million Mom March Time-Out Chair Box-Social"

$150/plate, proceeds go to enhancing my gun collection.

i drove past the Pubillones/Nolan homestead this afternoon

on the entrance to Potomac Falls
is a green sign announcing"
"Security Patrolled
No Solicting"

i have several pictures

Sisco, that is cool! Unfortunately, they would spin it to "We got this cop-killing ammo off the streets, and made something useful out of it!":barf:

I say we send the used targets and the used Wolf 7.62 x 39 cases along with a picture of an evil drive-by-bayonetting cop-killing SAR-1.:p

They sure are milking this for all it's worth. If some animal rights organization posted a list of folks who support animal testing, nobody would lift an eyebrow. If the ACLU posted a list of people and businesses they believe don't support the 1st Amendment, nobody would make a peep. But the NRA makes a list of companies, movie makers, etc. who do not support the RKBA for their members, and suddenly all hell breaks loose. How dare they make a list of people who have taken actions against the 2nd Amendment, or such! Exercising their 1st Amendment rights in support of the 2nd!! Those damn, racist rednecks...
