Alas, mine has a serial number 2xxxx, so I just managed to get 'lucky', I guess. Here's a list of everything Springfield did:

Polished the feed ramp

Reamed the barrel

Replaced the extractor

Drilled & pinned the ejector

Replaced on[e] of your mags

Completely tested and safety checked the pistol

Yes, and I wonder: if you take your EMP to Gunsite, do they make you sit in the corner for a brief 'time out'?

I went with the emp 9. Great gun and is very nice. Far exceeded what I expected out of it. Frankly I have been kicking myself for not buying it several years ago!
