"agent" is a disgruntled former xcrforum member. I would highly recommend taking anything he says with a cup of salt.

XCRmonger you got the wrong guy, I was never a former member of any forum.
Anyway which part of my claims don’t you believe?

I really don’t understand you XCR haters

All what you do is just bashing XCR without even owning one.

XCRmonger, I recommend that you fire a XCR before you judge it .

Regardless of who he is, other forums, etc, etc. you still failed to answer my questions Agent. I was being serious, so if you could, go back and check them for me and give me some answers, thanks.

Where...I didn't see any? Without the opportunity I like the platform, at least on paper/monitor. I think you're trying to stir up ****.

:)

I own both. I dont have a ton of rounds through the SCAR yet, but I have shot it side by side with the XCR. I have a good foundation for a basic comparison. Exactly what do you want to know?

I'd like to know how accuracy and reliability compare mostly. Do they both feel sturdy and rugged? I've had a few concerns over the SCAR's stock. Having never handled one myself I can't be sure, but it looks a bit flimsier than the XCR one. The plastic lips that hold it on to the receiver don't look too sturdy. Also, how does the plastic safety feel? That strikes me as something that is prone to snapping.

Agent,

I know exactly who you are. I am not a retard. As you WELL know, I have been an employee at Robinson Armament for almost 3 years.

Where I come from, lying is wrong. You are cluttering up this forum with your bull (first your XCR is a piece of crap and jams three times per mag, THEN you have over 100,000 rounds through your XCR without an issue, and Robinson is the best manufacturer in the world).

Do us all a favor and drop it. It's exhausting, and your smear campaign is completely transparent.

1- If you are really a Rob ARMS employee, and you know me as you claim, How many Rob products total do I own ?

2- Please check my past posts ( I was describing SCAR malfunctions not XCR),
I was just typing fast and got them mixed up.

I never had a single malfunction with any of my Rob Arms products.
and YES
Rob Arms is the best manufacturer (not the largest yet) in the world.

I support Rob arms, and I will continue supporting Alex, and I will try to buy at least 5 of any product Alex makes.

The number Agent, is 8 and leave T be.

Play nicely now, the mods here are far less forgiving than Lex

The opinions are almost a dead heat:

24 say XCR is great; 23 say no not so much; 34 say about the same as other contenders. I guess it's just a ho-hum rifle after all. :)

I guess it's just a ho-hum rifle after all.
Do you like your ho-hum-dinger?... Then not much else matters does it? FWIW I voted "about the same" due to no range time with the platform...bring it over to the house and I might switch my vote...just a short drive. :D

PS- It shoots fine underwater
Horrible marketing tactic...they need to blow up a Colt..or maybe an HK. :neener:

There's some really good information on here about the XCR...can we not get the thread locked because of issues over "Agent"? I will admit, he is loosing credibility with me because he has yet to answer my questions, but hey, lets not get this thing locked up.

Now we need a poll showing how many of the 81 have actually shot one. Or maybe even held one. Or at least didn't think it was that new Honda..

Actually, looking at the numbers, the refreshing part is that unlike if this was a POF/LWRC/HK/AR etc poll, you DON'T have the traditional faboi/fangrll .......

OMG, BEST EVAHH, Everything else SUCKS, You Suck and so on, ad infinitum.........where you see a twin spike at Perfect or Worst EVAHHHHH.......

(Sorry, been looking after some 12 year old girls, the vocab, it rubs off on you)

I herewith sentence anybody with more than three posts in this thread to go to the OP and read all the posts thereafter until you get back here to my post.

If you still don't feel you have enough information to let you form an opinion, forget it. Go to some other thread. Think about flowers and puppies and Christmas and college bowl games and the remainder of hunting season.

Something worthwhile, IOW.

I sure like mine and after many 3 gun, Carbine Comps, and overall **** loads of shooting the bastard runs and I mean really runs like a top.
I own many rifles from various manufacturers and the XCR is the most robust rifle I own, if I had a choice of the XCR or the standard USMC issue it would be no question this is the rifle I would have preferred while I was in Iraq. My m16 served me well but needed a constant cleaning and prudent application of oil etc.. to be combat acceptable. I have handled VariableBinary's SCAR and was interested but the rifle was IMHO less of a rifle for more money (typical of FN). Maybe after shooting the SCAR I will change my mind but for now first impressions only happen once and I will stick with the locally built rifle that I fought hard to hate and ended up amazed with.
