Is that actually a child? They've blurred his face enough that I think that might be a young LEO.
I know they refer to him as 'this student', but he keeps his fingers off the triggers most of the time, and puts the mag in that one pistol like he's done it quite a few times before.
It is edited together to look like he is pulling all of this from one standing, However, there is one bad edit spot and one good edit spot. I am not sure if this effects the purpose of the piece but it does make its content misleading.
On the actual topic of the video, at the school I go to, there is not a better way to get yourself hated by your students then enacting dress codes. And on the top of that, how is that guy going to walk up stairs or sit down with an 870 in his pants. Students can just as easily hides guns in backpacks, lockers, cars or pretty much anywhere if they are determined and creative enough (even though schools are *gasp* gun free zones, so everyone knows that no gun violence could ever happen there! )
Unless Im mistaken Iv'e seen this clip in Micheal Moores wonderful documentary-Bowling for Columbine-where this scene was shown after the scenes of the Columbine high-school massacre. This was shown to advertise security metal-detectors in Schools-unless Im mistaken.
This kid or more appropriately young-male, has been able to conceal a nice array of weaponry, including:several types of revolvers and automatics,a derringer,an Ingram and finally YES-HOW DO YA DO IT-a pump-action Remington 870 shotgun.
As if he can walk around a crowded high-school with all of that under his pants and on his person.Thomas Hamilton-the Dunblane killer-had to carry his ammo in a camera or ammo holdall, because his clothes couldn't accomadate the large amounts ammo packs he was carrying and he couldn't carry a longarm easily into the school-stuffed under his pants-because someone might have seen the bulge and known about it instantly.
As for Hamiltons guns-two Browning Hi-Power 9mm MK3 Practicals and two Smith and Wesson 586s .357s-these were carried in both shoulder and belt holsters, that were concealed from view.
By the way that kid is probably most likely to be a 20-something adult-male-not a teenager.
Sterling is correct - IIRC, this little thing showed up a year or two ago as part of a dress code campaigne agaist letting kids wear baggy clothes to skul ona'counta they can hide a small arsenal in their pants.
It's Ok theater, but as noted, not likely he could walk much without making an awful lot of noise with his pants around his ankles.
