If such a thing were to actually come about, there would be some very real implications for our fellow gun owners in the "liberal" states.

That'll last until the citizens of those states figure out that all those 'federal dollars' that go to the states will have to come out of THEIR pockets!

With the tax increases, those folks will stampede to the United States, which will automatically make them the equivilant of 3rd world countries.

Of course, with the money saved on the states that secede, the Border Patrol will have to be expanded and there'll be all that new fence to build...I mean, we can't have THOSE people coming into OUR country without some sort of control, can we?

It would be a happy day if the New England states went their own way. No more Massachusetts or New York gun grabbers and welfare state proponents clogging up the Senate and House would be a good thing. Au revoir.
