weve heard about those laws. no rifles or shotguns .50 or larger in bore. no semi auto rifles with those fun detachable magazines.

But has anyone an idea on how these idiotic laws would affect Remington and other gun makers?

What about the small custom gun builders who specialize .50+cal muzzleloaders? THeres a few gents in new york who make some very nice long rifles and jaegers id like to have someday. What about pecatonica kits?

The idiots in NY who try to force these laws down our throats are from urban cess pools like NYC, Buffalo, and Albany. Neither do they know or do they care what goes on in 90% of the rest of the state they just want to force thier draconian rules on the rest of the state. They don't give a damn that most people in the upstate areas are shooters, or hunters, they don't care that most of the laws they enact are very close to unconstitutional. They are elitists who just don't care about anything but thier twisted agendas.

I say if these Clowns want to make these stupid laws because the crime in their cities is bad fine make the laws for that city, I will never go there anyway. If NYC doesn't like .50 cals then make a law for the city not for the rest of the law abiding citizens who love their freedoms. I am sick and tired of living in a state where the rules of a city take precedence over the will of the rest of the state, if you are from upstate and haven't writen Joseph Bruno, your State Senator, and Your Assemblyman, YOU are part of the problem upstater need their voices heard. Write these people, and write them often. Sorry if I sound gruff but I am just tired of it. Change doesn't just happen and sitting around and bitching to like minded folks doesn't make change happen, we need to raise our voices and raise them high in NY.

Ok Enough of my ranting...

NY keeps restricting rights and raising taxes, but then cannot imagine why people and businesses are fleeing the state.

I have written the proper politicians. I have received the wondrous form letters in return.

I live about 10 minutes from the PA border. At this point, I am considering moving to PA to save money on my property taxes, income taxes, energy bills, etc. etc. etc. More gun restrictions would just add more reasons to leave.
