My recent post about budget .308 silencer ready bolt rifles got me thinking: Are there any .308 lever rifles that are factory threaded? A silenced lever rifle would be too much fun.

Yea, and I just noticed it is only available in 223 unless I missed something. You can buy 3 Ruger Predators for that and in my opinion have a better rifle.

JMR40, that BLR is also available in .308 (the models are in a drop down menu)

With no iron sights, the Long Ranger would be very cheap & easy to have threaded.

The Henry looks like it "borrowed" a lot from the Browning. With a MSRP of just over $1000 the street price might be reasonable.

If so this might actually be the 1st thing from Henry that interests me.

I thought I saw that initially, but later when I looked a 2nd time missed it.

Well this thread got me thinking...

There is always the Mossberg 464 SPX that is threaded. And the 30-30 is a very flexible cartridge that would be easy to hand load to subsonic levels with heavy bullets.

Swap out the terrible stock and handguard for wood, add a suppressor, and you have basically the same ballistics as the 300 Blackout in a handy lever action carbine.

Hmmm....
