ATLANTA -- Atlanta police say a gunman shot a security guard and two other people at Greenbriar Mall on Saturday. Investigators say the shooting happened during a robbery inside the mall.

Police closed off the mall entrance near Macy's around 6:00 p.m.

Atlanta police spokesman, Steve Coleman, says one of the victim's has life-threatening wounds.

Emergency crews took all three victims to Grady Memorial Hospital. Their identities have not been released.

As of 6:45 p.m., police were still looking for the suspect or suspects, who may have gotten away in a Ford Expedition SUV.

Yup, tongue in cheek. Nice first post BTW!:scrutiny: :D

Anyway, the mall seems to be more of a target these days. Our local mall just recently added a FT deputy detail in lieu of the unarmed security people. At least CCW aren't banned yet.

Okay, the very first question that comes to my mind, in the wake of the shooting at the Trolley Square Mall in Salt Lake City not long ago, is whether or not that mall was POSTED.

Monday of this week I started a thread about the Elyria Mall in Elyria, Ohio that removed their "No Guns Allowed" signs in response to a meeting with Ohioans for Concealed Carry. They had posted their mall because of the shooting in Salt Lake City.

This would be ANOTHER incident to add to the list showing that signs do not do anything if it was signed at all entrances.

Does anyone know if this mall was signed?
