Has anyone found the right combo in componets to get yours to shoot tight groups?
Im tring the H335 powder now,
55 gr,fmj bt
R/P along with F/c cases, but not mixed with any one load
H335 24.1-25.3
I get maybe 2.5 in groups,with the 55 gr,
I tried moving the col.from 2.220 -2.218 and everything in between
I know with my 1-8 in twist wont shoot 40-45 gns at all.I gave up them,
My next try will be to smoke a dummy round and check how far i can go before my free bore isnt free,

You,because 8" twist need heaver bullets.(normally it is 12")
Try HPBT Sierra 69gr and Vihtavuori N-140 or N-540 powders.
PS: Tikka is now days Beretta!

On Loading For The Tikka ,,,

I have a new one myself and unless there is a major difference in the barrel seating between our 2 weapons you will run out of room in the magazine before you can get close to the lands . Using my Stoney point tools I am getting an .030 setback with the Hornady 60 gr Vmax at this time and no more room in the mag . So far using BLC2 and varget havent been so good with best groups being around 1 1/4 in. I am getting more fouling than I should as well firing only 5 round shot strings with 2 fouling rounds and cleaning between groups . I am thinking of using some of the Tubbs laping bullets before I go any farther. Might be a good idea if we hook up via email and team up on loading ideas and data to get where we need to go faster and of course cheaper. Whadda ya say ? 10 Spot
