Timberwolf in .44: Is it durable and reliable?

I am considering purchasing an IMI Timberwolf in .44 Magnum. Does anyone here have experience in shooting one of these? A friend of mine had one in .357 but I was wondering if anyone knew how well they have held up under the .44 Mag.

I have never heard anything bad about them. They are kind of pricey for everyday shooting in my book. Too much collector value and lack of spare parts.

They are very hard to find but have a cult following. The .357 model at any rate is said to be very well made.

I know I kick myself for not ordering a few from Ivan ho when they had 95% complete guns for 175 or something like that.

No doubt. I remember whenSmith and Edwards Surplus in Utah had a whole bunch they were closing out for around $200.00. I didn't have the money at the time. Bummer.

I even had the money but I didn't have an FFL lined up in my area and was shipping at the time so I was in and out. If I had known anything about them or knew what their value was going to do I would have ordered a few of them. I really do like pumps.
