Is this a gun that is available at gun stores once in a while, or is it primarily an on-line firearm? I came across an unbelievable deal on ammo for it but have no handgun to shoot it with:( If it's pretty limited to on-line sales, could somebody smarter than me point to a good deal or two? I've been googling it without any real luck. I see them for $250-300 on GB, but I thought they could be had cheaper than that.

Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

Any of the Tokarev models, or a cz52; also the current Sterling pistolisavailable in that caliber. At six cents a round or so it is inexpensive to play with and it's a great shooting round.

cz's and Toks were cheaper a year or two ago but have risen a bit.

Look around, surely you have a survival squirrel, EOTHAWKI (end of the world as we know it) type store, the place you can buy genuine reproduction SS daggers and the "best back pack they make" for when you need to "go to the mountains"

Either that or a store that specializes in used/milsup, my local one always has one to two in the case and if you ask, well they will get you one, for the right price out of their cache, er collection.

I've used GB a few times for 7.62x25 related stuff, but primarily stick Southern Ohio Gun (SOG) and J&G for all my needs for this caliber (both firearms and ammunition). Of course a C&R license makes all the difference....
